WE Energies Gas Main Work to Begin in Downtown
WE Energies will begin gas main and service line maintenance work in downtown Burlington starting on Monday July 10th. The work will at times limit access to some on street parking on Chestnut St, Pine St, and Milwaukee Ave. Some limited sidewalk closures will be necessary during the project. No road closures are anticipated, but lane shifts on Milwaukee Ave will be necessary at times during the first phase of the project. The public alley next to the Loop Commons is expected to be closed at times during the first phase of the project. An estimated project schedule, map, and impacts are listed below. As always, construction schedules are estimated and subject to change based on numerous factors that can be encountered during the work. For questions, concerns, or more project information please contact WE Energies at 414-944-5625.
