Absentee Voting for the August 9, 2022 Election

Early   in-person   absentee   voting  for the Partisan Primary will begin  on  Tuesday,  July 26  at  City Hall  (300  N.  Pine  Street)  and  will end on  Friday, August 5.  During  early  voting, voters  may  cast their  ballot  Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  (open  until  5  p.m.  on  Friday, August 5). Voters are required to show photo ID in order to early vote.

PLEASE NOTE: Patrons must utilize the entrance on Jefferson Street. Face masks are optional in all City buildings. Patrons will need to adhere to social distancing protocol and may need to wait to enter or exit the building, depending on the volume of patrons we receive at a time. Only two voters will be allowed to enter at a time and will be asked to stand 6’ apart from each other.

Election Inspectors Needed

If you have an interest in being an election inspector at the polls, please contact City Clerk Diahnn Halbach at 262-342-1171 or dhalbach@burlington-wi.gov . Election inspectors are paid an hourly wage and may choose to work the whole day or a 1st or 2nd shift.
