Annual Fireman’s Dance and Fundraiser Canceled Due to COVID-19
The City of Burlington Volunteer Firefighter’s Association announced that they have made the difficult decision to cancel their annual dance and fundraiser at Echo Park on July 4th, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After assessing the requirements outlined in Governor Evers’ Badger Bounce Back plan, and monitoring the spread of COVID-19 across the state and our community, the decision was clear that it was in the best interest of our community to cancel this event. The association will continue assessing other annual events planned for later in the calendar year, including the Pancake Breakfast held at the station.
The City of Burlington Volunteer Firefighter’s Association wants to thank the entire community for their support. We look forward to celebrating together again in the future.
