MAYOR HEFTY ORDERS CITY OF BURLINGTON GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS CLOSED


BURLINGTON – City of Burlington Mayor Jeannie Hefty announced today that non-essential city buildings will be closed on Monday, January 28, 2019, due to severe weather conditions forecast for Racine County.

Buildings impacted by the closure include City Hall, Municipal Court, the Racine County Service Center and non-essential Public Works offices.

The City will continue to carry out essential services including Police, Fire and Public works critical to the snow event and public safety.

The city is urging residents to stay off the roads if possible. If traveling, please drive slowly, stay back from snow plows and keep headlights on.
